Three ways to add a routine

Scan the QR

Open Routines+, scan the code on the routine page, and it appears on your phone configured and ready.

Import the file

Download the .rtn file and open it. Modes & Routines imports it in one tap.

Build it yourself

Every routine page lists the exact conditions and actions, in order, so you can recreate it by hand.

Before you buy

  1. Samsung Galaxy only. These use Samsung's Modes & Routines. They will not work on Pixel, other Android phones, or iPhone.
  2. One UI 7 or newer for QR and file import of shared routines. Manual steps work on older versions.
  3. Routines+ recommended. It is a free module in Samsung's Good Lock app and is what scans routine QR codes.

Questions

What is a .rtn file?

It is the format Samsung uses when you export a routine from Modes & Routines. Open it on a Galaxy phone and the routine imports, already configured. RoutineVault gives you each automation as a .rtn file and as a QR code.

Is my data collected?

The routines run entirely on your phone. This site sets no tracking cookies. Payment and delivery are handled by Paddle — see the Privacy Policy.

What if an update breaks a routine?

One UI updates do occasionally change settings names. Pack buyers get corrected versions by email at no cost for as long as the product is sold.

About

RoutineVault is a one-person project by Kasun Magedaragama, based near Vienna, Austria. Every routine is built and tested on a real Samsung Galaxy phone before it is published, and rechecked when a major One UI update lands. Questions, or a routine misbehaving?
